Former military general talks American leadership

New America CEO Anne-Marie Slaughter welcomes general Stanley McChrystal discusses leadership and what makes a great leader. In his new book, “Leaders: Myth and Reality,” McChrystal profiles pairs of leaders from diverse eras and fields, showing that leaders often use dramatically different tactics to achieve similar results. He also discusses his changed understanding and reassessment of the leadership of Confederate General Robert E. Lee.

'The Windermere Children' regain their lives in the wake of World War II
