Kate Wells Associate General Manager of Marketing and Development for Eight, Arizona PBS

Phoenix, Ariz. — April 19, 2011 — Kate Wells has been named Associate General Manager of Marketing and Development for Eight, Arizona PBS according to General Manager Kelly McCullough.  Wells will oversee KAET’s fund-raising efforts including membership, major giving, planned giving, corporate support and other donor programs.

“Kate’s history with Arizona’s non-profit community has been extensive, and remarkably successful. We are excited about the opportunities she will bring to Eight, Arizona PBS,” said McCullough.

Her previous position was as media strategist at ASU for AzTE and SkySong.  Wells was also a founding member of the Children’s Museum of Phoenix as Director of Development and Communication.  Her team was instrumental in raising more than $23.8 million for the project.

Wells holds a certificate in non-profit management from the College of Extended Studies, Non-Profit Management Institute at Arizona State University and a bachelor of arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from San Diego State University-California State University.
