Seasoned fundraiser joins station following eight-year stint at Barrow Neurological Foundation

Robyn Nebrich-Duda, a seasoned fundraiser and nonprofit leader, has been selected to fill the Executive Director of Development position at Arizona PBS. Selected following a national search, Nebrich-Duda’s tenure at the station began Monday, October 14.

“Throughout her 12 years in philanthropy, Robyn has built an impressive track record, not only as a fundraiser, but as a relationship builder,” said Arizona PBS General Manager Scott Woelfel. “To grow the reach and beneficial impact of Arizona PBS, we’ll need to forge new relationships and build partnerships. Robyn has the experience and skills to do that, and the team and I look forward to working with her to chart an expanded path for Arizona PBS.”

Nebrich-Duda comes to Arizona PBS from Barrow Neurological Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. She served as the foundation’s Director of Philanthropy and Planned Giving. In that position, Nebrich-Duda built up development efforts for the Alzheimer’s and Memory Disorders Program, the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center and the Ivy Brain Tumor Center, now the largest early-phase clinical trial program for brain tumors in the world.

As Arizona PBS’ Executive Director of Development, Nebrich-Duda will lead the station’s Membership and Development teams, working with General Manager Scott Woelfel and colleagues at the ASU Foundation for a New American University to establish and execute fundraising strategies for Arizona’s largest public television station.

“I look forward to building on the tremendous success the membership and philanthropic teams have had over the past 60 years,” said Nebrich-Duda. “Arizona PBS is a trusted part of our community that advances early childhood education, creates an engaged and informed community, and highlights the best parts of the Grand Canyon State.”

An active participant in the community, Nebrich-Duda currently serves on the Colten Cowell Foundation Board, and she has a Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business.
