This week on May 5, we are celebrating Cinco de Mayo! Cinco de Mayo commemorates the Mexican army’s victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla in 1862 during the Franco-Mexican War. In the United States, it has become a significant celebration of Mexican culture and heritage. Listen to learn about the music that can be heard at Cinco de Mayo celebrations.
