New Bright by Text service promotes child development

Bright by Text from Arizona PBS and Bright by Three. Text 'Arizona PBS' to 274448 for games, tips and resources!

Arizona PBS Educational Outreach has launched a new free service that sends tips and resources promoting child development via text message.

Bright by Text is a free parent and caregiver messaging program for parents with children from age 0-5 years old. The service is designed to be relevant to today’s families, providing quality information and trusted resources to any caregiver, including hard-to-reach, low income families and informal caregivers.

The messages are comprised of research-based content from Bright by Three and other trusted providers, such as PBS Kids, PBS Parents, Vroom, Fred Rogers and Sesame Workshop. Learn more here.

Arizona PBS serves up new digital series to support local restaurants

The COVID-19 pandemic has shaken the world’s restaurant industry, but chefs and restaurateurs throughout Arizona have pivoted to offer innovative takeout menus. Arizona PBS is highlighting those menus through a new digital-first mini-series starting Dec. 10.

In Concert at the Hollywood Bowl “Hecho en Mexico”

Before becoming part of the U.S., Los Angeles was a Mexican city. This episode pays tribute to the city’s roots and features beloved Mexican and Mexican American artists performing with Gustavo Dudamel and the LA Phil. Tune in to watch Rodrigo y Gabriela, Natalia Lafourcade and La Santa Cecilia, plus Los Ángeles Azules performing with YOLA (Youth Orchestra Los Angeles) and Paolo Bortolameolli.
