Celebrate International Jazz Day with an All-Star concert

Join more than two dozen world-renowned musicians for an extraordinary International Jazz Day all-star global concert from St. Petersburg, Russia’s spectacular Mariinsky Theatre on Sunday, April 28, at 2 p.m. on Arizona PBS.

International Jazz Day is the one day each year that jazz is celebrated worldwide, bringing together people of all ages, backgrounds and nationalities in 195 countries on all seven continents.

The All-Star Global Concert highlights a remarkable meeting of jazz masters from Australia, Brazil, China, Cuba, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mali, Morocco, Panama, Russia and the United States. The concert’s many historic moments include an unforgettable performance by legendary jazz vocal group The Manhattan Transfer, along with Jazz Day debuts by Malian phenom Fatoumata Diawara and Moroccan sintir master Hassan Hakmoun.
