Meet Daniel Tiger and friends!
Join Arizona PBS for Be My Neighbor Day as we celebrate Mr. Rogers’ birthday and welcome Daniel Tiger to South Mountain Community Library from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026.

Inspired by the themes of the PBS KIDS series Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, families will explore what it means to be a caring neighbor and learn how small acts of kindness can support our community through hands-on activities.
Daniel Tiger will be available for a fun meet-and-greet too!
We’ll see you Saturday, March 21 for Be My Neighbor Day at South Mountain Community Library. View directions here.
Arizona PBS KIDS is encouraging kindness throughout the community!

Kindness is contagious! Our Education and Community Impact team will be hosting a “Give Back to the Community” donation drive in support of the Arizona Humane Society (AHS), whose mission is “to save the most vulnerable animals and enrich the lives of pets and people.”
We will be collecting blankets and towels on behalf of AHS. Bring donations to the Arizona PBS Studios 5th floor lobby [directions here], and drop them in the donation box, or bring blankets and towels on the day of the event. Please contact Lisa Ann Sepulveda, Assistant Director of Education and Community Impact with any questions at 480-263-1260 or lisa.sepulveda@asu.edu.
And be sure to visit the Arizona PBS booth to create a thank you card for the Arizona Humane Society and share messages of support and hope in our community.
Who do you want to say thank you to? Download the Be My Neighbor Day Kindness Activity Booklet, which includes a thank you card to color and personalize for the special people in your life.
