‘Secrets of the Dead’ explores the past through forensics and archaeology

Part detective story, part true-life drama, “Secrets of the Dead” explores new evidence for the legend of King Arthur. Using the most up-to-date science in the laboratory and in the field, scientists and researchers examine the missing pieces of each puzzle, completing the picture of what had been merely an assemblage of suppositions.

On Tuesday, June 9, at 7 p.m., “King Arthur’s Lost Kingdom” uncovers new archaeological evidence at Tintagel that suggests the legend of King Arthur started in a prosperous and sophisticated trading village in 5th-century Britain following the departure of the Romans.
