Prime Afternoons: All your PBS favorites, in the daytime

Missed a show in the evening? Enjoy some of our highest-rated primetime evening shows earlier in the day during Prime Afternoons each weekday from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Start your month with some of your favorite shows throughout the week!


On Mondays, enjoy “Antiques Roadtrip” at 1:30 p.m. and the beloved “Father Brown” at 2:30 p.m. To finish off the evening, check out “Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries” at 3:30 p.m. November 3 and 10 will feature “Molly of Denali” at 1 p.m. On November 17 and 25, “Moments that Changed America” takes over the 1:30 p.m. followed by “The American Revolution” at 2:30 p.m. 

Tuesdays, check out “Molly of Denali” at 1:30 p.m. followed by “Antiques Roadshow” at 2:30 p.m. On November 18, tune into “10 Parks that Changed America” at 1:30 p.m. with “The American Revolution” at 2 p.m. The 2:30 p.m. time slot changes out every week with “Midsomer Murders” on November 4 and 11 with “The American Revolution” on November 18 and “The Great Escaper on Masterpiece” on November 25. You won’t want to miss “Check, Please! Arizona” at 4:30 p.m.

Wednesdays are for American History. New shows will fill the time slots each week! Start off with “Molly of Denali” at 1 p.m. followed by “Finding Your Roots” at 1:30 p.m. Then on November 19, “Towns that Changed America” will fill in the 1 p.m. time slot followed by “The American Revolution” at 2 p.m. In the 2:30 p.m. time slot, “Finding Your Roots” will be featured on November 5, with “Corpsman” on November 12 and “Bring Them Home” on November 26. At 3:30 p.m., “Immune” will fill in the time slot followed by “33 Black Frog” on November 12 with “The Medicine Man” on November 16. Finally, in the 4 p.m. time slot, don’t miss “Stroke: The Circle of Healing” on November 5. 

Thursdays, tune into “Molly of Denali” at 1 p.m. with “Nature” at 1:30 p.m. and “Energy Switch” at 3:30 p.m. “Arizona Wildlife” will fill in the 4 p.m. time slot.  In the 2:30 p.m. time slot, “Fracture” will be featured on November 13 with “NOVA” on November 27. On November 20, you won’t want to miss “10 Homes that Changed America” at 1 p.m. followed by “The American Revolution” from 2 – 4:30 p.m.

On Fridays, finish off the week with “Molly of Denali” at 1 p.m. followed by “NOVA” at 1:30 p.m. with back-to-back episodes “Secrets of the Dead” starting at 2:30 p.m. On November 7, “NOVA” will fill in at 1 p.m. and “Secrets of the Dead” at 5 p.m. The “Election Reform Special” will take over the 3:30 p.m. time slot on November 14. On November 21, check out “Streets that Changed America” at 1 p.m. and “The American Revolution” at 2 p.m. 

Then at 4:30 p.m., enjoy episodes of the beloved “Rick Steves’ Europe” all month long.
