Prime Afternoons: All your PBS favorites, in the daytime

Missed a show in the evening? Enjoy some of our highest-rated primetime evening shows earlier in the day during Prime Afternoons each weekday from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Start your month with some of your favorite shows throughout the week!


On Mondays, enjoy “Antiques Roadshow” at 1:30 p.m. and the beloved “Father Brown” at 2:30 p.m. To finish off the evening, check out “Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries” at 3:30 p.m. and “Samantha Brown’s Places to Love” at 4:30 p.m.

Tuesdays, check out “Antiques Roadshow” at 1:30 p.m., followed by “Midsomer Murders” at 2:30 and 3:30 p.m.

Wednesdays are for American History. At 1:30 p.m., enjoy “Finding Your Roots” followed by “American Experience” at 2:30. On March 18, enjoy an episode of “American Masters.”

Thursdays, tune into “Nature” at 1:30 p.m. with “H20: The Molecule that Made Us” at 2:30 p.m. and “Energy Switch” at 3:30 p.m. At 4 p.m., don’t miss “Arizona Wildlife Views.” 

On Fridays, finish off the week with “NOVA” at 1:30 p.m. with “Secrets of the Dead” at 2:30 p.m. and “Ancient Invisible Cities” at 3:30 p.m. 

Then at 4:30 p.m., enjoy episodes of the beloved “Rick Steves’ Europe” all month long. On Tuesdays, don’t miss “Check, Please! Arizona” filling in the 4:30 p.m. time slot.
