ASU assistant professor joins ‘Horizonte’ to talk about new book, ‘Illegalized’

“Horizonte” examines issues of particular interest to Arizona’s Hispanic community. Anaya interviews experts on subjects from public policy to education to arts and culture, with new voices, new perspectives and new energy.

In this episode, we talk with Rafael Martinez, an Arizona State University assistant professor in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts, about his new book titled “Illegalized: Undocumented Youth Movements in the United States.” This book tells the history of the rise of undocumented youth social movements in the U.S. in the 21st century.
