Explore the science and culture behind musical taste with Dr. Nolan Gasser, the architect of Pandora Radio’s Music Genome Project and an expert in Music AI. Blending live performances, animations and insights from neuroscience, psychology, culture, emotion and a pioneering mobile app that engages the audience in a new way, the program offers a one-of-a-kind immersive experience.

Explore local artists with Arizona PBS’s digital music show “Playlist 48.” Coming up this season, a guitarist, vocalist and member of local Arizona band Vinyl Station, sings and strums on “Playlist 48.” A local child star now actress, singer, songwriter, shines bright on Arizona PBS, and an alternative rock band comprised of community members from the Gila River Indian Community and the Tohono O’odham Nation collaborate to blend styles of hard rock, indie, jazz and chill-wave genres.
