Phoenix-based band redefines punk rock on “Playlist 48”

Saturday, March 8 at 12 p.m.

Phoenix-based My Upside Down is redefining punk rock with energy, venom and love. Inspired by Queen, My Chemical Romance and Rites of Spring, the five-piece band has released two projects in under two years and shared stages with acts like Essenger and Telltale. With their latest release, “Piece by Piece,” dubbed “violent pop,” they continue pushing boundaries and taking their sound to the next level.
