Visit Downtown Phoenix’s first art gallery

More from this show

Alwun House is Downtown Phoenix’s first art gallery. For more than 45 years, the Alwun House has created opportunities for artists, and served as a pivotal beacon in the Garfield community. Without the pioneering work of Alwun House, much of what is taken for granted in the vibrancy and success of downtown’s flourishing arts community would not have been possible. We will talk to the owners Kim Moody and Dana Johnson about the importance of Alwun House to the Phoenix art scene, both to the community at large and artists. Learn more about the gallery at http://alwunhouse.org/
