‘The Count of Monte Cristo’ series premiere

Sam Claflin stars in an epic new TV adaption of Alexandre Dumas’ iconic French novel, “The Count of Monte Cristo,” one of the greatest revenge stories ever told, a captivating tale of betrayal and redemption.

On the eve of his wedding, Edmond Dantès is falsely accused of treason and imprisoned. After escaping and discovering a hidden treasure, he reinvents himself as the Count of Monte Cristo.
