Arizona primary election night recap; Minority Mental Health Awareness Month

On “Arizona Horizon,” we discussed the results so far of the Arizona primary election and what to expect moving forward in Arizona politics around the general election. To discuss the election and the winning candidates, we welcomed President of HighGround, Inc. Chuck Coughlin and Karl Gentles, partner of The Gentles Agency.

We also discussed the importance of National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month and breaking the stigma surrounding it, as studies show many facing mental health challenges in minority communities go untreated. We welcomed Jesus Alderete, BSN RN and Behavioral Health Nursing Director of Valleywise Health to discuss the issue.
