Arizona introduced the first autism-focused primary care clinic in the Valley. The Valle del Sol clinic is located on East Indian School Road in Phoenix, Arizona, and will provide integrated medical and behavioral health services tailored to individuals on the spectrum. The clinic’s goal is to create a medical home where health care is designed around the patient, instead of asking the patient to adapt to the health care system.
Dr. Tashara Gray, a Pediatrician at Valle del Sol, and Jessica Mangieri, a Lead School Nurse at Arizona Autism Charter Schools, joined “Arizona Horizon” to share more information about the clinic.
