Social Security voter panel; AI detection; first autism primary care clinic

More from this show

On this episode of “Arizona Horizon,” Brian McKew and Judith Simons, Arizona voters, discussed their Social Security concerns related to the upcoming election. Social Security’s spending is above its dedicated budget and has increased the federal deficit.

We also heard from Jaron Mink, Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at ASU, about AI detection online. As AI improves, an increasing amount of AI-generated content confuses online users as to what images, video and text are real.

Finally, Dr. Tashara Gray, a Pediatrician at Valle del Sol, and Jessica Mangieri, a Lead School Nurse at Arizona Autism Charter Schools, talked about the first autism-focused primary care clinic in the Valley. The clinic will provide a medical home where health care is curated for each patient, rather than the inverse.
