ASU Research Review: InnovationSpace

More from this show

The InnovationSpace — a multidisciplinary program in the ASU College of Architecture and Environmental Design — brings together industrial design, graphic design, engineering and business. Senior level students work in teams to create and market new products that are not only innovative, but also good for society and the environment.
Some of the products highlighted include:
A streamlined breathing apparatus and a helmet with a thermal imaging flexible display developed in collaboration with the Phoenix Fire Dept.;
A device that converts written text to audio output for the vision impaired, called the iReader, developed in collaboration with the ASU Center for Cognitive Ubiquitous Computing (CUbiC).
