First-time novelist Jessica Knoll has an extensive background in magazine writing.

She has been a senior editor for Cosmopolitan and the articles editor at SELF. This Philadelphia native graduated from The Shipley School in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, and from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York.

She and her husband currently reside in New York City.
