Arizona PBS Community Events Winter 2023

Arizona PBS is here to help you connect with your community, be more informed and explore new educational opportunities. Here are the communities our team visited this winter!

SAZAEYC Conference in Tucson

December 2, 2023 • Regional outreach coordinator Gloria Osborne spent the day at the SAZAEYC Conference (Southern Arizona Association for the Education of Young Children). With over 300 educators in attendance, Osborne was able to connect with many of Southern Arizona’s finest early childhood educators and promote our educational outreach and resources.

Family+Math Spatial Sense Workshop

December 8, 2023 • Senior Regional Coordinators Gordon Brown and Gloria Osborne, along with FFN United Way Coordinator Soto collaborated to host a Spanish Family Math event with Friends, Family and Neighbors community at Central Arizona College. The event was a success, with attendees learning about shapes, fun math activities and singing along with Gordon’s tunes.
