This year’s ‘summer slide’ could be worse than ever

Every summer kids lose some of what they learned in the previous school year. It’s called the “summer slide,” and this year that slide’s been made more pronounced by school’s closing early due to the pandemic. For more on this, we spoke with Erin MacFarlane of the Maricopa County Library District.
