The Phoenix Zoo is Bringing the Zoo Experience Home

More from this show

The Phoenix Zoo has come up with new ways for families to enjoy a trip to the zoo during the pandemic. Phoenix Zoo Director of Communications, Linda Hardwick spoke to us about the at-home zoo experience.

In the at-home zoo experience, you can enjoy animal encounters, behind the scenes tours, and guided visits to the exhibits. Guests can connect with a Zoo educator on Zoom and learn about various animals.

Also being offered is Cruise the Zoo, an experience that lets visitors drive their cars through the zoo. Guests can view a variety of Zoo animals such as flamingos, giraffes, elephants, and more while maintaining safe social distancing measures.
