Arizonans face housing, employment obstacles due to criminal records

More from this show

Almost half a million Arizonans have faced obstacles to housing and employment from low-level and aged criminal records. Even after serving their sentences and turning their lives around, individuals still come across these barriers.

The Phoenix Chapter of TimeDone supports individuals by advocating for policies that lead to helping people expunge their records. TimeDone members are providing resources to help with procuring housing and attaining jobs.

Vincent Valenzuela, Arizona Statewide Coordinator at TimeDone, joined “Arizona Horizon” to share resources that can help individuals in similar situations.
