The next presiding judge of Maricopa County will be the first woman and the first Hispanic female in charge. José Cárdenas talks with Associate Presiding/Presiding Judge Designate Barbara Rodriguez Mundell, who will assume the position in July. She will be responsible for managing court programs, educating and training judicial officers, various administrative initiatives and a range of court services. Mundell has served as a Superior Court judge since 1991.
