Land of a Thousand Dances is a play produced by New Carpa Company and it is about Cannibal and the Headhunters, an American band from East Los Angeles. They were one of the first Mexican-American groups to have a national hit record with “Land of a Thousand Dances.” James Garcia of New Carpa Theater Company talks about the story behind the band.
