Arizona and Mexico Town Hall discusses ways to increase trade across the border

More from this show

Patrick Welch, one of the coordinators of the Arizona and Mexico Town Hall, talks about the event’s discussion of trade across the border.

The principle idea of the first town hall in 2017 was to build momentum to have a second one. The attendees were intrigued about having an opportunity to express their opinion, Welch says.

Welch says it is important that the town hall is able to address issues because of the open rhetoric in the background. It was on a personal level, which helped motivate things, he says.
