Challenging of electoral votes expected from GOP Wednesday

More from this show

Congress will be convening Wednesday to count each state’s electoral votes to reaffirm president-elect Joe Biden’s victory. However, some Republicans are expected to throw their support behind President Trump to challenge votes in states like Arizona. Horizonte host Jose Cardenas talked about it with attorney and constitutional expert Robert McWhirter.

McWhirter explains the process of counting the votes again and the intricate political motives from both sides. There hasn’t been many times when this has happened but a look into the past might help. Vice President Pence has a huge role in the debate to recount the votes since he’s the President of the Senate.
