Women’s History Month: On the Podium

More from this show

The first time that International Women’s Day was held on March 8th was in 1914 in Germany. The United Nations adopted the holiday in 1975, and during the years since then, the month of March has become recognized as Women’s History Month.

Women’s History Month is the perfect opportunity for us to celebrate the women who made history in the field of music – specifically, conducting.
