Programming Highlights

Lorraine Hansberry: Sighted Eyes/Feeling Heart | American Masters
She might not have that much name recognition as other trailblazing Black activist and artists, but she should. Watch to get the Black LGBTQ artist, playwright,  journalist, activist and rebel powerhouse that was Lorraine Hansberry.

McCarthy | American Experience
The 1950s were good times for conspiracy theorists, especially from 1950 to around 1954 thanks to Joseph McCarthy, who, free of restraint or oversight, led an actual witch hunt that thrived on bullying, intimidation, grandiose showmanship and cruel victimization of many innocent Americans.
