Lucky to be Me: a positive affirmation activity for March

March is the perfect time for feeling LUCKY! Show it off in your school hallways or walls at home with this fun, positive affirmation activity: Lucky to be Me! 

What you’ll need to complete the activity

• Cardstock
• Markers or crayons
• Lucky to be Me template – or you can create your own!

Follow these steps

1. Have students brainstorm words that describe them and that they are proud or lucky to be. These can be phrases, one-word adjectives or sentences. (This is also a great time to talk about positive affirmations!)
   
2. Ask students to pick four of their favorite adjectives, words or phrases, and write one inside each clover. 
   
3. Creativity is highly encouraged to color and decorate the finished product. I often display mine as an example and encourage students to have as little white left on their paper as possible! Some students add pictures, too! This is a very diverse activity.
