Celebrate Father’s Day with activities from PBS KIDS

Father’s Day is right around the corner, and PBS KIDS is bringing you tons to celebrate with. This is a time for families to celebrate the dads, grandfathers and father figures who make every day meaningful.

Sometimes the most memorable moments come from simple activities that bring families together, like creating homemade cards and sharing family traditions. PBS KIDS offers a variety of Father’s Day activities designed to help families celebrate. These activities give children an opportunity to express their love while spending meaningful time with the dads and father figures in their lives.

1. Read articles about strengthening relationships, fatherhood and books to read, like Sam McBratney’s “Guess How Much I Love You” and Karen Katz’s “Daddy Hugs.”

2. Choose from fun crafts and cards to make for the father figures in your family, like a pop-up card.

3. Learn how to make DIY gifts, like picture frames, magnets and more.
