Bill Konigsberg is the Writer-in-Residence at the Piper Center for Creative Writing at Arizona State University.

He is a teacher in the “Your Novel Year” online certificate program.

He was a sports writer and editor for the Associated Press covering the New York Mets.

His weekly fantasy baseball column appeared in newspapers across the country.

He won a GLAAD Media Award for his editorial on ESPN.com titled “Sports World Still a Struggle for Gays.” He now resides outside of Phoenix with his lifetime partner, Chuck, and their two dogs.
