Matthew Palmer

As a 25-year veteran of the U.S. Foreign Service, Matthew Palmer has extensive knowledge about global crises and international affairs.

Palmer also served on the Council on Foreign relations and currently works for the State Department’s Bureau of Asian and Pacific Affairs.

He is fluent in Serbo-Croatian.

Palmer toured as an officer in Bosnia, as well as a political counselor.

He also spent time in Yugoslavia, where his experiences ultimately inspired his latest novel, The Wolf of Sarajevo.
