Ted Simons, host and managing editor of “Arizona Horizon,” moderated a debate between Democratic candidates vying for the position of Maricopa County Sheriff. The sheriff not only oversees deputies but is also in charge of corrections officers.
We welcomed Tyler Kamp (D), who spent more than 20 years with the Phoenix Police Department,
and Russ Skinner (D), who has been serving as acting sheriff since Paul Penzone stepped down.
