Virtù Honest Craft: A Mediterranean culinary journey

More from this show

Virtù Honest Craft, situated in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale and helmed by Chef Gio Osso, stands as a culinary haven celebrated for its landmark fine dining experience. Nestled within the Bespoke Inn, the restaurant’s outdoor patio boasts lush Mediterranean touches, creating an inviting atmosphere.

Chef Osso, driven by a passion to restore honesty to the craft of cooking, has curated a menu described as a fusion of Van Halen and Mozart influences. The culinary offerings feature both prix fixe and à la carte options, with the prix fixe menu presenting a three-course special encompassing a starter, entrée, and dessert.

Guiding the kitchen with expertise is Executive Chef Kelly Fletcher, a seasoned professional with years of culinary experience. Chef Osso’s vision for Virtù Honest Craft is centered on a commitment to authentic and skillful culinary artistry.

Ted Simons, the managing editor and host of “Arizona Horizon,” recently sampled the delights of Virtù Honest Craft. Opting for the prix fixe menu, Simons commenced his culinary adventure with the burrata, a dish he praised as “so good, so beautiful.” Another guest, Catherine Anaya, host of “Horizonte,” indulged in the Buttino, a butterscotch pudding she described as “out of this world.”

For dessert, Simons selected the sticky toffee pudding with gelato, a choice he labeled as “fantastic.” Simons’ pro tip for visitors: “Just go and don’t rush.”
