IL Bosco: A neighborhood pizzeria

More from this show

With a homey, intimate environment, IL Bosco is the quintessential neighborhood pizzeria with its wood-fired, thin-crust pizzas.

This Arizona restaurant prides itself on its simplicity and consistency, sticking with well-made pizzas that leave you the perfect amount of full.

“We do what we do well, and that’s all we do,” Owner Jeff Carlberg said. “People feel like they’re at home.”

“Check, Please! Arizona” guest Taylor McCarthy loves IL Bosco for its unique menu and fresh ingredients you won’t always find in your typical pizzeria. McCarthy highlighted their Carmella pizza, which features caramelized onions on top that bring a sweet twist to your pizza.

McCarthy also complimented the dough, saying the crust “stays super fluffy and bubbly. It’s really good.”

Guest Johara Muscara praised the pairing of the wine and the pizzas, giving you the perfect combination for your meal that will bring out the flavors.

IL Bosco additionally boasts an array of sweet treats, from their crunchy cannoli to their warm and rich cookie skillets.

McCarthy’s tip is to visit IL Bosco when the weather is good, as the restaurant has a beautiful patio where you can enjoy your meal.
