Tacos, BBQ and Brunch

More from this show

On this episode of “Check, Please! Arizona,” there is something for everyone at these memorable neighborhood spots.

To start us off, guest August O’Neal took us on a trip to the South with her pick, Sweet Magnolia Smokehouse. On the menu, guests can find Southern style barbecue cooked slowly and thoughtfully. As a family business, the restaurant is filled with family history seen through their recipes passed down through generations.

Next up, guest Angela McWilliams picked Taco Guild. Perfect for all times of day, the restaurant provides fresh and delicious Mexican food. The building was originally home to a church built in 1893. Now the restaurant keeps that history alive in the architecture and small details.

To top it all off, guest Brad Berg picked Brunch Kitchen and Cocktails. Not only is the service top notch, the menu made it become his go-to spot. No trip can be complete without indulging in one of their donuts of the day alongside a refreshing cocktail.
