The Mayors

More from this show

On the season finale of “Check, Please! Arizona,” we sit down with the mayors of Phoenix, Chandler and Tempe to find out where they like to dine.

Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego selected Dahlia Tapas Tequila & Wine. Owner Audrey Corley said she would describe the restaurant as a love story. She said they offer a twist on traditional tapas and offer larger plats for guests to share. The team, Corley said, is ready to take guests on a flavorful journey.

Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke selected Feringhee Modern Indian Food. Kishore Thadikamalla, the general manager, said the food takes guests right to the heart of India. With more than a hundred labels of wine and a wide selection of whiskey, he said guests only enjoy the best.

Finally, we have Tempe Mayor Corey Woods’s pick Hundred Mile Brewing Company. Sue Rigler, owner of the brewery, said they offer elevated comfort food. Guests might recognize a familiar name on the menu. In honor of the mayor and his love of their chips, Rigler said they named side dish The Mayor Woods chips.
