Dahlia Tapas Tequila and Wine: Love is in the air
April 23
With a variety of dishes made with love, Dahlia Tapas Tequila and Wine is the perfect spot for guests to dine.
Audrey Corley, owner of the restaurant, said she would describe Dahlia Tapas Tequila and Wine as a love story. The restaurant, she said, brings the community together to share a good time in an intimate space.
Corley said she wanted to add a twist to tapas, which are typically small plates, and offer bigger plates for guests to share.
To go along with their many dishes, Corley explained the wines come straight from Spain and Mexico with the cocktails having a tequila or mezcal base.
For guests trying Dahlia Tapas Tequila and Wine for the first time, Corley said to leave it up to the team to take them on a flavorful journey. She said there is something for everyone and the menu accommodates guests with dietary restrictions.
The energy throughout the restaurant, she said, is filled with love. Corley said she wants guests to feel the care and time put into not only the menu but the atmosphere. Out of all the places guests could dine in Phoenix, Corley said she wants to ensure guests feel that Dahlia Tapas Tequila and Wine is a place that cares about the community.
“You don’t have to worry about anything. We got you here at Dahlia,” Corley said. “I always say we’re going to leave you better than we found you.”
Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego said the restaurant is a special place, sitting right in the beautiful and historic neighborhood of Coronado.
To start off her visit, Mayor Gallego enjoyed the roasted vegetables, which were packed with incredible flavor. The dish is seasonal, she said, so guests don’t always get the same thing twice.
For her entree, she had the tostadas. Mayor Gallego said it came with three different tostadas, with each having their own unique taste, and was beautifully presented.
Mayor Gallego also enjoyed the raspberry mocktail to go along with her meal, adding she appreciated the level of thought the restaurant put into the mocktails on the menu.
Mayor Gallego’s pro tip: Listen to the staff because they are experts on the menu and offer great advice.
