Imprisoned in a death camp with her family, Rose Mapendo survived genocide in the Democratic Republic of Congo. She resettled in Phoenix where she founded Mapendo New Horizons to help other refugees. Mapendo shares her harrowing and uplifting story of courage and forgiveness.
