Discussion with Arizona treasurer candidate; U.S. national debt hits $40 trillion

More from this show

On this episode of “Arizona Horizon,” we heard from a candidate for Arizona state treasurer Nick Mansour (D), who discussed Proposition 123, cryptocurrencies, distribution from state land trusts and more. Elijah Norton, Republican candidate, declined to join the conversation.

We also heard from Dale Rogers, Professor at W. P. Carey School of Business at ASU, to learn about the recent increase in the U.S. national debt, which surpassed $40 trillion. The country’s debt has more than doubled over the past decade and continues to grow as borrowing increases to finance expenses.
