The event includes a mock Supreme Court competition on the Protect Arizona Now Initiative, discussions on the economic impact of illegal immigrants, a showing of the award-winning film The Gatekeeper, performances of works by noted playwright James Garcia, and testimonios from recent migrants. One of the highlights of the forum will be the unveiling of a 110-foot long “Mending Wall,” which will feature work by local artists and the names of those killed trying to cross the border in the harsh Arizona desert. We’ll show you the wall as it is under construction.
