Top political science professor joins ASU School of Politics and Global Studies

Professor Rodney Hero is a distinguished scholar and the former president of the American Political Science Association – the first Latino to hold that position. Hero is now the new Raul Yzaguirre chair in the ASU School of Politics and Global Studies.

Professor Hero talks about his extensive body of work on the role of interest groups in Latino politics. He discussed his most recent project, which is focused on the different approaches that advocacy groups with a shared goal have taken in legal briefs filed in significant cases.
