Frontline: “American Insurrection”

Over the last three years, FRONTLINE has collaborated with ProPublica to investigate the rise of extremism in America. “American Insurrection” is a new timely documentary that probes far-right groups and leaders who were responsible for the recent violence and threats.

“American Insurrection” will explore how far-right groups were encouraged by President Donald Trump, how these individuals were radicalized and brought into this political landscape and the concerns people feel moving forward from these events. It investigates the threats and violence that far-right groups imposed on the capital and why they believe they were defending the U.S. constitution.
