Lobster and pasta from High Tide Seafood Bar and Grill

High Tide Seafood Bar and Grill

High Tide Seafood Bar and Grill brings fresh seafood to the desert, with a menu inspired by East Coast seafood dining. They cook all of their seafood in steam pots, a unique method here in the Valley, that ensures the flavors mix together seamlessly and your seafood stays moist and fresh.

“High Tide is a place where you feel comfortable as soon as you walk through the door,” Manager Deborah Hanze said. The restaurant not only prides itself on its seafood but also its atmosphere, with the guests on this episode highlighting the attentive service they received.

You can visit High Tide at 2540 S Val Vista Dr #101, Gilbert, or visit their website for more information.

Oysters from Neighborly Public House

Neighborly Public House

Owner Chris Collins has crafted a dining experience at Neighborly Public House that feels like a warm invitation to a best friend’s home. With a modern yet cozy atmosphere, the restaurant mirrors this comfort in its menu, blending traditional American cuisine with inventive twists.

One of their most popular dishes is the chowder fries, a unique find from Collins’ culinary school days in Boston featuring crispy fries smothered in creamy clam chowder and bacon. “Check, Please! Arizona” guest Donaldo Lopez described the oysters as wonderful and the chowder fries as “creamy and savory.”

You can visit Neighborly Public House at 5538 North 7th St, Phoenix, or visit their website for more information.

Clam linguine from the Italian Daughter

The Italian Daughter

Italian cuisine meets fresh seafood at The Italian Daughter. With rich options from seafood risotto to linguine with clams, they’ve got a variety of seafood dishes that honor the owner’s Italian heritage while also adding new flavors to classic dishes.

“Check, Please! Arizona” guest Paola Boivin enjoyed the Linguine Vongole, saying that it was so delicious she wanted to drink the broth.

At The Italian Daughter, the menu is a love letter to tradition, and the atmosphere invites guests to feel not just like patrons but cherished members of the extended Italian family.

Grassroots Kitchen and Tap

Grassroots Kitchen and Tap, a neighborhood-centric restaurant, quickly won over the locals thanks to its Southern-inspired menu, with delicious seafood dishes such as its blackened redfish and shrimp po’boys.

“Check, Please! Arizona” guest Frank Altier enjoyed the blackened redfish sandwich and noted that the fish was excellently cooked.

Christopher Collins, the owner, envisions Grassroots as the ultimate neighborhood go-to, whether you’re visiting monthly, weekly or even more frequently, encapsulating a vibe that’s “comfortable, relaxed and extremely inviting.”

This Mediterranean-inspired fine dining experience boasts a variety of seafood options, with the menu ever-changing but preserving some of Virtù’s classic dishes.

With an ambiance similar to that of a villa, the restaurant’s outdoor patio boasts lush Mediterranean touches, creating an inviting atmosphere.
