PBS NewsHour covers the final presidential debate

As the nation prepares to vote in the 2020 presidential election, the PBS NewsHour team is providing coverage and analysis of the presidential and vice presidential debates. Watch each event live on Arizona PBS or watch the livestream on this page.

On Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 6 p.m., incumbent President Donald Trump met former Vice President Joe Biden for the first of three 2020 presidential debates in Cleveland, Ohio. The 90-minute debate was made up of six 15-minute segments: “The Trump and Biden Records,” “The Supreme Court,” “COVID-19,” “The Economy,” “Race and Violence in Our Cities” and “The Integrity of the Election.” Special coverage and analysis continued after the debate with NewsHour anchor and managing editor Judy Woodruff. On Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 6 p.m., the vice presidential candidates, incumbent Vice President Mike Pence and Senator Kamala Harris, had their turn. Watch the debate coverage and read a recap here.
