Family Night: PBS KIDS tackles race and racism

This weekend, October 9, 10 and 11, PBS KIDS is premiering a new special, “PBS KIDS Talk About: Race and Racism,” at 7 and 8:30 p.m. The half-hour program will feature authentic conversations between real children and their parents, and will include content from PBS KIDS series Daniel Tiger’s NeighborhoodArthur and Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum. Then at 7:30 p.m., Xavier Riddle and his friends meet Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks and Thurgood Marshall. The evening ends with an episode of “Arthur” featuring the late Congressman John Lewis at 9 p.m.
