New York Times best-selling author, Dave Barry is a professional humorist.

He has written a controversial newspaper column that appeared in over 500 newspapers.

He has received a Pulitzer Prize for his commentary.

However, he claims his most enduring achievement was his influence in the movement to observe International Talk Like a Pirate Day on September 19.

Barry has written over 30 books, two of which were the basis for the CBS sitcom, Dave’s World.
