George’s Kitchen: Go Greek

More from this show

This family-owned Greek-style restaurant is the perfect neighborhood spot for a family dinner with its expansive menu and flavorful dishes.

Known for its renowned smooth and creamy hummus as well as its fresh salads, George’s Kitchen aspires to make you feel at home while providing you with delicious Greek cuisine.

“We wanna make sure when you come in you enjoy all the food and you leave happy,” Manager George Deligiannis said.

“Check, Please! Arizona” guest Charlotte Shaff describes George’s as a “gem in the North Central Phoenix neighborhood” and a place with “something on the menu for everybody.”

Guests raved about the moist and flavorful gyro meat as well as the grilled chicken Greek salad, with which Shaff said you “cannot go wrong,” raving about the creamy and tangy dressing.

Guests also praised the lemon chicken rice soup, a fan-favorite at the restaurant.

“It warmed me up, and it was not too filling,” Shaff said.

The family environment of George’s Kitchen is palpable when you walk through the doors, with a casual and relaxed atmosphere.

The open layout of the restaurant also allows you to watch the chefs as they make the food, adding to your experience.

Shaff’s pro tip: If you’re interested in getting a variety of things, it is a great place to get carryout from.
