Veterans Day Special

More from this show

Join us for a Veterans Day special, as we pay tribute to the men and women who serve our country with a look at issues affecting them. We start with the history of the G.I. Bill with Arizona state historian Marshall Trimble. Former Arizona governor and U.S. senator Ernest McFarland is credited with being the father of the G.I. Bill. Then, we take you to downtown Mesa where one veteran-owned shop is having success in the brewing business. We also visit a job fair aimed at helping veterans. We wrap up our special with the U.S. Army Field Band.
